CPU speed
Number of CPUs
Cores per CPU
Amount of RAM
Size of L1/L2/L3 cache
Bandwidth between CPU and RAM.

The rendering infrastructure is designed to take advantage of multiple CPUs (up to 256 CPUs per rendering engine) and benefits greatly from hyper-threading capability.

Suggested stand-alone workstation requirements:

Dual Quad-Core Intel Xeon 3.0 GHz or higher
2 GB RAM or more
