Kenneth Fineman
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Fineman is a co-founder of Fovia. During the past thirty years, Mr. Fineman has been a founder, co-founder or senior executive of various high technology start-ups, including one that went public at a valuation exceeding $2.5 billon. Prior to his involvement with start-ups, Mr. Fineman was an investment banker in New York and London at Lazard Frères and merger and acquisition specialist Wasserstein Perella. Mr. Fineman earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School and his BS from the University of California at Berkeley, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
George Buyanovsky
President
Mr. Buyanovsky is a co-founder of Fovia and the inventor of the Company’s High Definition Volume Rendering engine. He is also the author of a compression technique known as “ACB compression” that was top-ranked on Calgary Corpus, the de facto standard for lossless compression evaluation. Mr. Buyanovsky is a widely referenced author in the data compression area. He earned his BS and MS Degrees in Computer Engineering from Almaty Polytechnic in Kazakhstan.
Kevin Kreeger, PhD
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Kreeger has a thirty-five+ year track record of developing successful visualization solutions for the medical and defense markets. As Director of Advanced Development at Hologic, he managed a team of PhDs that developed computer-aided detection algorithms. Prior to Hologic, Dr. Kreeger was VP of Advanced Development at R2 Technology, where he led a team that developed the first FDA-approved CT-based lung nodule and pulmonary embolism detection systems. Dr. Kreeger’s PhD thesis resulted in the creation of Viatronix, where he developed the first FDA-cleared virtual colonoscopy application. Dr. Kreeger has been granted numerous patents and authored many peer-reviewed articles.
Shay Kilby
Vice President, Global Marketing & Strategic Alliances
Ms. Kilby earned her MS in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois, where her research included acquisition of 3D anatomical data in clinical settings. She has clinical experience in fields such as craniofacial prosthetics and has taught cell biology and anatomy at the university level. Her most recent 3D animations, which are on display at various museums around the world, help scientists visualize and better understand mummies and their artifacts. In addition, Ms. Kilby has extensive experience in the user interface design process throughout a software product’s lifecycle.
David Wilkins
Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Wilkins has delivered successful products to the digital and healthcare imaging industries for over thirty years. Prior to joining Fovia, Mr. Wilkins was responsible for expanding lifeIMAGE’s cloud-based medical image sharing network as Director of Product Management. Previously, at AMICAS, he served as the Director of Engineering and Product Architect of AMICAS’ Next Generation PACS Workstation. Mr. Wilkins has also held positions with Adobe, IBM and Hewlett-Packard and was awarded a prestigious HP Fellowship at Stanford University where he received his MS in Computer Science.
